Ames MPF ™ Kits (Liquid) Ships With Dry Ice
The Ames MPF Liquid Kits are modified versions of the Ames test using liquid culture instead of agar plates. The assays are based on the fluctuation method cited in the OECD Guideline 471 but use 384-well microtiter plates and have a colorimetric read-out. The great advantage of this format is the lower amount of sample needed and much easier handling. The Ames MPF assays use TA98 and/or TA100, TA1535, TA1537. All these tester strains are recommended in the current, formal test guidelines.
Ames MPF ™ Kits (Semi-Solid) Ships at Room Temperature

Analytical Services
The CRBM-MBRC Research Center in Rimouski, Quebec Canada, features a fully equipped laboratory for performing an optimal Ames II™ Mutagenicity Assay and AMES MPF98/100™ Mutagenicity Assay and reporting work for customers. Chemicals will be accepted to perform the required assays, interpret data, and produce detailed reports. The staff is fully trained in all aspects of the Mutagenicity Assay, providing a very efficient and cost-effective process. Depending upon answers to a client’s questionnaire, detailed reports are likely to be completed within 15 days.
